Setup & Configurations

Before end-users the web knowledge base, the KB administrator needs to first setup and configure certain settings, in the web access administrative panel in TeamKB in Outlook, and then on the IIS web server. The followings list all the steps required to be performed to get TeamKB website running in few minutes.

bullet Step 1: Setting up an IIS web folder as virtual directory (or a website)
bullet Step 2: Set appropriate network permission to the IIS shared folder
bullet Step 3: Extract/Copy all KB Web Access application files to the IIS web folder
bullet Step 4: Configure Web Access specific settings in TeamKB add-in
bullet Step 5: Write/Update XML metadata files from Team for Outlook
