Custom Fields

TeamKB provides 6 custom fields (4 of them static texts and 2 drop down lists) in the Outlook KB form to feed additional information on the KB article. The titles are available for editing to get the proper meaningful label that signifies the information the fields store.

	Mark it as mandatory, such that when a new article cannot be successfully submitted/published if the field is empty. If a field is marked mandatory, it would appear red in color when viewed in the outlook form.
	The caption that will be displayed for that custom field.
	The list of values that the field would be allowed to have. This is particular useful, if you know all the possible values beforehand, and that you want to restrict author/user from entering a value other than the ones available in the list.
