Automatic notifications

Automatic email notifications are essential for keeping authors and editors informed with the progress and status of the articles. TeamKB offers notification options for different events such as when a new article is submitted, published, edited or rejected. The template for such a notification email is available for customization as discussed earlier. Automatic emails are send out directly when a relevant event occurs and the whole exercise is transparent to the user.

Email notification to the concerned editor (that is responsible for a problem type) is sent out by TeamKB system when a new article is submitted by a non-admin author. However, new article submitted by author with admin-access would be published immediately (in the 'Published Articles' folder) and no notification would be sent to the editor.

 

Email notification to the author is sent out by TeamKB system when the submitted article is approved by the editor.


 

Email notification to the author is sent out by TeamKB system when the submitted article is rejected by the editor.


 

Email notification to all users of the system is sent out automatically when a new article is published.


 

Email notification to the concerned editor is sent out by TeamKB system when an existing article is modified/edited by an user.
